Melton

Description

Melton is a monolinear sans serif family crafted for user interfaces and technical publications, offering a seamless blend of grotesque and constructed elements. While the lowercase initially gives the impression of a traditional grotesque, its design reveals geometric subtleties, with horizontal out strokes on characters like ‘f’, ‘t’, and ‘y’ adding distinctive flair, particularly in the lighter weights. Melton's uppercase letters are slightly narrow, further highlighting the contrast between grotesque characters like ‘A’, ‘C’, ‘G’, and ‘S’, and the more constructed forms of ‘M’, ‘R’, ‘Q’, and ‘Y’. This blend of styles creates a unique visual texture, making Melton a versatile choice for modern technical and design-driven projects.
