Description

Retorika is an expansive family of industrial-style sans serif fonts, ideal for branding, corporate design, and editorial projects. Designed by Gumpita Rahayu, Retorika stands out with its broad language support, making it suitable for use across Europe and parts of Asia, with notable coverage for Vietnamese. The typeface combines grotesque-style numerals and capital letters — particularly striking in characters like ‘G’, ‘J’, ‘K’, ‘M’, and ‘S’ — with a more constructed appearance in others, such as the ‘R’, ‘a’, ‘f’, ‘g’, ‘j’, ‘l’, ‘r’, ‘t’, and ‘y’. Retorika’s lowercase ascenders extend slightly above the capitals and numbers, and its square-shaped dots in letterforms and punctuation give it a distinctive industrial character, balancing structure and utility.
