Nimble

Description

Nimble is a versatile family of monolinear geometric sans serifs, designed by C. York and A. Lethbridge for branding, editorial design, and user interfaces. Its letterforms are compact with tight, essentially closed counters, giving the typeface a clean and structured feel. The squared dots on letters and punctuation marks add a subtle geometric touch. Nimble’s lowercase ascenders are taller than its capital letters and numerals, contributing to its unique vertical proportions. Even in its heaviest weights, the characters maintain a compact shape without becoming overly wide. Rounded elements in the design, such as curves and circles, exhibit mathematical precision, reinforcing its geometric nature. Despite Nimble's tall x-height, the design is refined, preventing the lowercase from feeling overly large.
